First Shabbat of MBI

Today the MBIers learned who their kvutzot (groups) and buses would be for the summer. Each bus is split into two kvutzot, with whom they travel and have tours with.

They spent the rest of the day getting to know each other and their madrichim (counselors). Before beginning Kabbalat Shabbat, they enjoyed mishpachot, an MBI Friday evening tradition. During this time of the week, they sit with all of the chanichim (campers) from their home machaneh (camp) and share with each other how their week was. It's a great time for them to check in about how they are feeling, chat about home, and to be around familiar faces.

Following this activity, they welcomed in their first Shabbat together on Kibbutz Ravid!
