Yad VaShem, Har Herzl & Updated Schedule

Today MBIers visited the Yad VaShem Holocaust Museum - they participated in an interactive tour and then debriefed in their kvutzot and talked about contemporary issues of anti-semitism.

MBI then be traveled to Har Herzl Cemetery to learn about and discuss early Zionism. They visited the graves of Theodre Herzl, Hannah Senesh & Yitzhak Rabin- all early Zionist figures that contributed a lot to Jewish thought on statehood and Jewish society.

Later in the day they had some free time in the Machaneh Yehuda shuk (open air street market) to explore and sample some different Middle Eastern food specialties!
